Homeopathy is a traditional system of medicine that originated in Europe and was developed by Dr. Samuel Hahnemann (1755–1843). It has been practised in various parts of the world, including Australia, India, Europe, and North and South America, for over two centuries.
The foundation of homeopathy lies in the principle often referred to as “like may be treated by like.” This concept suggests that a substance, when prepared in a highly diluted form, is used within homeopathic practice with the aim of supporting the body’s natural ability to maintain balance and well-being.
Homeopathy is considered a complementary approach to wellness and is used by many people worldwide. It does not replace medical diagnosis or treatment from a qualified health professional.
